Abstract
Spontaneus pneumomediastinum (SP) is firstly described by Hamman in 1939. SP is most commonly found young people without trauma. SP generally occurs depended on severe coughing, hard phisical exercises and incresed intraabdominal pressure. Classical triad of SP is; dispnea, chest pain and subcutaneus amphizema. Incidence of SP is 1/12500 in patients who admitted chest hospital emergency. Surgical decompression is life saving.
