Abstract
In the follow up period of extrapulmonary malignancies, detection of a pulmonary nodule should not be always considered as a metastatic lesion. It could also be another simultaneous primary lung malignancy. Determining the etiology of the new lesion is important in order to decide the therapeutic management and prognosis. Simultaneous renal and lung cancer is a rare condition and can usually be detected randomly during scanning for metastases. We present a 75 year-old man with renal cell cancer and coinci dental small cell lung cancer discovered during preoperative evaluation. (Tur Toraks Der 2012; 13: 34-7)
