Abstract

Giant-cell interstitial pneumonia (GIP) is a very uncommon respiratory disease. The majority of cases of GIP are caused by exposure to cobalt, tungsten and other hard metals. We report a case of hard metal lung disease which occurred in a diamond industry worker. The diagnosis was based on the clinical, radiological and pathological findings.
