Abstract
Further examination has been made in a 75-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man who had diagnosis of asthma 15 and 6 years respectively, as they had increase in respiratory symptoms and as there were pathology in their chest Xrays. Both patients had a history of sinusitis and eosinophilia in peripheral blood, their bronchioalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid also showed presence of eosinophilia. The patients were diagnosed as Churg-Strauss syndrome and 0.5 mg/kg/day prednisolon therapy was applied in decreasing doses for 1 year. During clinical and radiological controls at the 14th days of their treatments significant healing was detected in both patients.
