Abstract
Analgesic intolerance is a clinical condition which shows as bronchospasm, rhinitis, local or generalized angioedema, urticaria and anaphylactic shock within a few hours of ingesting asetyl salisilic acid or other nonsteroid antiinflammatory drugs. These appear alone or in various combinations. Bronchial asthma, perennial rhinitis/sinusitis and/or nasal polyps accompany analgesic intolerance in Samter’s Syndrome. There is not much published data about the incidence and the clinical and laboratory features of this condition in our country. In this text literature will be reviwed.
