Abstract

We conducted a retrospective analysis of two patients with acute renal failure (ARF) and adult respiratory disease syndrome (ARDS) caused by crush injury. Both patients had been extracted from buildings that collapsed in the 1999 Marmara (Turkey) sepsis and multiple organ failure can be prevented.
