Abstract

While occupational asthma is the most important respiratory occupational disease in developed countries, legal data in our country shows that silicosis is the most commonly seen pulmonary disease. However, in our country considerable number of people work in areas risky for occupational asthma and in studies made in such work areas important number of cases of occupational asthma is found. These results make us think that occupational asthma can be an important occupational disease, also in our country.
