Abstract

Abstract

The venous system may show many variations due to its complex development. Identification and recognition of these venous vessels is important, as they may become dominant vessels if other major veins become obstructed. Contrast-enhanced multidetector computed tomography provides fast, noninvasive and comprehensive diagnosis of venous anomalies. We presented two cases of left superior intercostal vein drainage into different location. MDCT angiography findings are described, and embryology and relevant literature are reviewed.
