Abstract

A 46-years-old man was referred with the complaints of solid calcified mass in the anterior mediastinum. A chest computed tomographic scan showed 3.0 cm sized soft lobular mass with two focal calcifications in the anterior mediastinum. The anterior mediastinal mass were excised with adipose tissue and the cystic lesion was excised together via median-sternotomy. The pathology results of the mass in the anterior mediastinum and the cystic lesion were as follows; Type B3 thymoma and bronchogenic cyst were evaluated. This case is presented because of the rare coexistence of type B3 thymoma and bronchogenic cyst in literature.
