Abstract

Abstract

Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) is an eosinophil-associated, small vessel granulomatous vasculitis, characterized by late onset asthma, upper airways disease, eosinophilia, and clinical manifestations of systemic vasculitis. Although etiology is unknown, several factors especially desensitization, vaccinization and sudden discontinuation of systemic corticosteroids have been thought to trigger Churg-Strauss Syndrome . A case with CSS triggered by clarithromycin is presented.
