Abstract

Abstract

Addisonian crisis is an acute and life-threatening complication of adrenal failure. A 44-year-old female presented with Addisonian crisis two weeks after anti-tuberculosis treatment was initiated for tuberculous lymphadenitis. Panhypopituitarism was detected at investigations for aetiology. Acceleration of cortisol metabolism by rifampicin treatment was blamed for the Addisonian crisis.
